Blessings on your Grandma! It is nice that she is visiting you in the Abbey! I never knew either of my grandmothers, so I think you are very fortunate. :-)

Hi Alexandra,
As I like Believer never met either of my Grandmothers,I always,
if you don,t mind share in other peoples Grandmothers.I think we are able to see in them more of ourselves than we do perhaps our Grandfathers
As I sit here at my computer on the mantlepiece behind me are photos of them
Paternal ..Charlotte
Both came out by ship before the turn of the century from England

I see a great likeness of my Daughter in Polly
And in Charlotte I see only my Fathers likeness

I would have loved to meet them but the time in which they lived did not allow them to overcome illness and they died before reaching 50....

Thank Believer and Lois for your comments. MY Grandma can serve as your grandma too. See every one of my friends call her grandma and always ask for her blessing when they see her in church or anywhere else.

I am very lucky to have her and I know that I am going to last a lot of years just like her and her mother. I got the chance to meet my great grandmother too. She died of age 94 in the year 1998. She was as loving as my grandma is.

Hey I will rite their stories in the blogger so you can know a litle more about my ancestors. That will be cool. I will try to get some pictures too to put on.

See ya.
